It's a lock! Meghan, Donald, and I will attend the Northern California Users Group Meeting in Sacramento next week (July 25th) to discuss EnvisionConnect workflows and upgrade opportunities.
The schedule for existing clients to install the EnvisionConnect upgrade is filling-in nicely with appointments for the fall and early winter.
Ten truths about the EnvisionConnect upgrade:
1) EnvisionConnect is primarily an upgrade to the user interface. The underlying data (database) and system logic from Envision remains... after all Envision was an established success.
2) No data-conversion. See truth #1.
3) No reconfiguration. See truth #1.
4) Your custom Crystal Reports will work without modification. See truth #1.
5) Envision's 200+ canned reports will become EnvisionConnect's canned reports. See truth #1.
6) Your security profiles will need to be updated to take advantage of EnvisionConnect's workflow/role-based security.
7) You may (and you should) use EnvisionConnect's Page Layout Editor to optimize high-traffic data-entry pages.
8) You may (and you should) answer several new configuration questions that will let EnvisionConnect be smarter about how you manage your programs and accounts.
9) You may (and you should) attend weekly online training sessions that showcase everything from Ad Hoc Reporting to the Complaint Dispatch Center. These meetings are also recorded and published online (password required) for your convenience.
10) We're here to help!
Hope to see you in Sacramento next week.

Well worded, Darryl. I would also like to mention that the Configuration Wizard and the UDF Editor both work with EnvsionConnect as they did with Envision. In fact, updated versions of both of these tools are slated for release in early August.
